We are committed to championing diversity, equity and equality, and to sustaining a research environment where everyone feels included. This workstream is dedicated to ensuring we can achieve this.
Research Inclusion means making our research accessible, fair and representative of the diverse communities across the East of England. We aim to reduce barriers, amplify under-heard voices, and ensure that research truly serves those who need it most. Research Inclusion is now a key condition of NIHR Funding.
All NIHR research should benefit all people in society and fulfils everyone's right to health and social care. If research is not designed and conducted inclusively, research will not serve those most in need.
