NIHR ARC East of England Board

The ARC East of England Board provides strategic oversight and assurance for the ARC programme. It supports the development of strategy, reviews progress and performance, and ensures that governance and financial responsibilities are met.

The Board is chaired by the Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, ARC East of England’s Host Trust.

Board members are senior leaders from regional partner organisations across academia, health, care, and community sectors, helping to strengthen collaboration and maximise the relevance and impact of ARC research.

Members of the Board are regional representatives from:

  • Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, which is ARC East of England’s Host Trust
  • University of Hertfordshire
  • University of Cambridge
  • University of East Anglia
  • University of Essex
  • Each regional Integrated Care Board (ICB)
  • Health Innovation East
  • Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID)
  • Healthwatch
  • East of England Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS)
  • Public Co-Chair of ARC East of England’s Research Inclusion Forum
