Dr Annalisa Casarin is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Hertfordshire and a researcher in NIHR ARC East of England’s Social Care, Dementia and Ageing theme.
Annalisa has a medical background with clinical research experience, which began in 2013 when she was involved in the delivery of a randomised control trial in Critical Care. In 2018, she completed a Master’s of Science in Public Health with a Health Services Research focus. She has been a research fellow at University of Hertfordshire since 2017, leading and working on research and evaluation projects using quantitative (surveys) and qualitative design and analysis.
Prior to her research roles, she worked as an Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management Doctor in Italy, Canada and the UK for 11 years.
