We bring together health and social care professionals, researchers, and the communities we serve. We aim to ensure future research meets a wide range of health and social care needs.

Our Research Themes

Ageing and Multi-morbidity

Medicines optimisation for people living with multiple health problems; community engagement and support for people affected by dementia; and research in and with care homes.

Health Economics and Prioritisation in Health and Social Care

Inclusive Involvement in Research for Practice Led Health and Social Care

Research on health and social care should involve patients, service users, carers and members of the public with different experiences.

Mental Health Over the Life Course

Palliative and End of Life Care

Population Evidence and Data Science

In partnership with the other ARC themes, this cross-cutting theme conducts research into how to better use data and increase its value on population health.

Prevention and Early Detection in Health and Social Care

The Prevention and Early Detection in Health and Social Care is a cross-cutting theme.
