Our Collaboration

We are an active collaboration of organisations and communities that identifies, develops and delivers high‑quality applied health, public health and social care research to tackle the UK’s most urgent healthcare challenges.

We are hosted by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, working in partnership with five regional universities (Anglia Ruskin University and the Universities of Cambridge, East Anglia, Essex and Hertfordshire), Health Innovation East), NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems, local authorities, patient‑led organisations, charities and industry partners. Together, we shape research that tackles major health and care challenges, reduces inequalities among populations with the greatest need, supports the translation of research evidence into real‑world practice in ways that can be scaled nationally.

To date, we have collaborated with around 300 organisations across the region and beyond, from national charities to technology companies and everything in between. These partnerships have enabled us to shape, develop and deliver research where it is most needed. We will continue to build our current collaborations and establish new, strategic partnerships as we move ahead.
