The Care Home Team’s Knowledge-Building Network was recently established by Care Home Director and ARC East of England Fellow Marlene Kelly, in collaboration with ARC East of England researchers. The network aims to share knowledge, improve practice, and encourage care home practitioners to engage with research.
Founded in 2025, the Care Home Team’s Knowledge-Building Network is dedicated to sharing knowledge, promoting evidence-based insights, and supporting care home practitioners to engage in research. This network welcomes individuals working in care homes for older people who have an interest in research. By joining, you’ll be supported, enabled, and empowered to explore how your hands-on experience can inform and shape research.
This network is specifically designed for individuals working within care homes, rather than academic researchers. For those already working in research, the Cross-ARC Care Home Network provides a dedicated platform for researchers, health and care professionals, and members of the public interested in applied health and social care research in care homes.
