Suzie is a mental health nurse working for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) in a community service for Older Adults. She is currently completing an ARC Fellowship.
Her project is 'Understanding the meaning of medicines to older adults with a diagnosis of personality disorder'. The study follows on from a 2022 study which found this demographic were prescribed, on average, more medicines over a life course than those with a different diagnosis. This project is a mixed methods study using quantitative analysis of medicines prescribed and qualitative analysis of interviews with service users. They are hoping the results will help guide practice on prescribing and deprescribing.
