ARC East of England Family Carer Research Network (ACORN) showcase events

Researchers at ARC East of England have established the Carer Research Network (ACORN) to highlight the breadth and depth of unpaid and family carer research At this series of showcase events, they will share how family carers’ needs are shaping research and showcase practical skills and tools designed to support carers.

About the event

The ARC East of England Carer Research Network (ACORN) will be hosting a series of events across the East of England. These events will spotlight the network’s work to date and feature speakers sharing the vital role of carers’ voices in shaping research. This practical session will also provide opportunity to reflect on the co-design and delivery of impactful carer-focussed research.

The ARC East of England Carer Research Network (ACORN) raises awareness of the breadth and depth of unpaid/family carer research and promotes carer research and implementation priorities. The Network includes unpaid carers, care providers, primary care and social care professionals, health and social care advocates, and researchers. 

When is it?

This series of events will be taking place between November 2025 - Spring 2026.

Where is it taking place?
