Dr Sion Scott is an Associate Professor of Behavioural and Implementation Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the Co-Lead for NIHR ARC East of England’s Research Capacity Development workstream. In addition, Sion is also a researcher in the ARC East of England’s Social Care, Dementia & Ageing theme.
At the ARC East of England, Sion supports building research capacity across the region. He is a pharmacist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and also serves as the Associate Dean for Postgraduate Research for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UEA. Sion applies his behavioural and implementation science methodological expertise to building research capacity amongst health and care professionals. Beyond his university and NIHR ARC East of England responsibilities, Sion sits on the board of the NIHR Incubator for Pharmacy Professionals.
He has a passion for capacity development and for supporting early career researchers.
