Dr Swapnil Ghotane is a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a researcher in NIHR ARC East of England’s Palliative and End-of-Life Care theme.
In Swapnil's previous role, he worked with the NIHR ARC South London, contributing to research on integrated care and service improvement for children and young people with complex health needs.
Swapnil is a dentist and health services researcher with over a decade of experience in public health and applied mixed-methods research across UK and international settings. He holds a PhD in Health Services Research and Public Health from King’s College London, where his doctoral research focused on needs-based workforce planning and health systems strengthening, contributing evidence to the development of Sierra Leone’s National Oral Health Strategy.
