Sion is a behavioural scientist and qualitative researcher and largely applies his expertise to research that seeks to improve medicines use for older people. Sion’s research is therefore closely aligned with the ARC Ageing and Multi-morbidity theme. His current research focuses on the development and evaluation of interventions to promote deprescribing of inappropriate medication, particularly in the hospital setting. Sion continues to practice as a hospital pharmacist alongside his research role.
