Nicole joined the ARC East of England in October 2019. Based at the University of Hertfordshire, Nicole works as a Senior Research Assistant on the Ageing and Multi-morbidity theme. Prior to this, Nicole was part of a multi-site team working on the DEMCOM study- a 30-month national evaluation of Dementia Friendly Communities funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (supported by CLAHRC East of England). Nicole has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (University of Lincoln) and a Masters degree in Research in Clinical Psychology (University of Hertfordshire). In 2018, Nicole started working towards her PhD alongside her research position. Nicole’s research interests include social networks of people affected by dementia, community engagement work that enables and supports people affected by dementia, and Dementia Friendly Communities.
