Dr Jan Stochl is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a researcher in NIHR ARC East of England’s Mental Health and Wellbeing theme.
Jan is a psychometrician, statistician and methodologist. He serves as a psychometric and statistical advisor for ARC East of England. He aims to improve measurement procedures and scales of mental health conditions. Jan has expertise in latent variable models such as structural equation modelling, item response theory modelling, and latent class modelling. Recently, he gained interest in networks models and developed computerized adaptive testing platforms. Besides research, he serves as a professor at Charles University in Prague where he teaches statistics, psychometrics and methodology.
