Imko Meyenburg

Imko Meyenburg is a Senior Lecturer in Economics and International Business at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and a researcher in NIHR ARC East of England’s Measurement in Health and Social Care theme.

Imko joined the Faculty of Business and Law at Anglia Ruskin University in August 2016 after completing his PhD. He is currently the lead for the Health Economics and Policy Cluster in the Centre for Inclusive Societies and Economies (CISE). 

Imko's research combines several strands in Political Economy, namely critical international political economy, political economy of language and populism, as well as healthcare provision, access, equity, and workforce planning, framing these within a capability approach and ethics. He is also interested in philosophy of social sciences, particularly pluralism in economic methodology.
