Ana-Maria Bilciu is the Head of Projects at Shaping Our Lives, a non-profit making user-led organisation specialising in the inclusive involvement of Disabled people and people from other marginalised communities. She is also a researcher in NIHR ARC East of England’s Social Care, Dementia and Ageing theme.
Her academic background consists of completing her BSc (Hons) degree in Information Technology Management for Business at Loughborough University, followed by working to support students as the Academic Experience Officer at Loughborough Students’ Union.
In her role, Ana focuses on ensuring that Shaping Our Lives’ work with partners, funders, and the communities they represent is inclusive, effective, and impactful. She therefore leads on service user involvement activities, such as recruitment, management, and oversight of all aspects of lived experience involvement.
