Pamela-Marie has been part of the Digital Technologies to support social wellbeing of community dwelling adults in receipt of social care and their carers (DiTSoW) research advisory group since 2024. Like others in the group, she became involved with this Research Advisory Group as she is a firm believer in, and user of, various technologies.
As an older person living with osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, Pamela-Marie has seen first-hand what an important role technology can play to improve the lives of people with a variety of disabilities and health challenges. Sometimes all someone needs is a helping hand to build confidence and a listening ear to accommodate their specific needs.
Pamela-Marie is retired and fills her time with various PPIE work. She is also a creative writing student and drama student. Pamela-Marie recently wrote and performed a monologue at her group's showcase has also had several pieces of her work published in various anthologies.
