Lynda joined the Digital Technologies to support social wellbeing of community dwelling adults in receipt of social care and their carers (DiTSoW) project in June 2024. She became involved with this Research Advisory Group due to her drive to improve the lives of people with lived experience of disability and firmly believes technology can play a huge role in this.
Lynda has Rheumatoid Arthritis, juvenile onset since early childhood. She is Chair and founder member of a fully inclusive charity since the late 1980’s and was presented with The Order of the British Empire Medal in 2016. The award is in recognition for her services to this charity for over 27 years and was granted to Lynda in the Birthday 2016 Honours List.
