Ian joined the Digital Technologies to support social wellbeing of community dwelling adults in receipt of social care and their carers (DiTSoW) research advisory group in 2022. Ian has been retired 18 years and he is a widow. His professional background was as a prototype engineer in the auto industry where he used CAD and various other computer programs. His wife on the other hand was scared of iPhones and anything to do with technology. Ian wanted to join the DiTSoW project to share both these perspectives of digital engagement and hopefully through this involvement help others.
