Emma Dickerson is an Associate Director of Operations at the NIHR ARC East of England.
Emma joined the ARC East of England (formerly CLAHRC) in 2014 as a Senior Programme Support Officer and then became Business and Operations Manager in 2021.
Before joining the ARC, Emma held senior management roles in the health and social care sector for over 11 years, working across third sector and private organisations. She developed and led services supporting older people and young adults with learning disabilities, with a strong emphasis on service innovation and business development.
Emma holds a Master’s in Business Administration and has a longstanding interest in the role of research in driving real-world improvements in care and outcomes.
