Public and Community Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PCIEP) Lead (NIHR ARC North Thames and NIHR UCLH BRC Hearing Theme)

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,965 - £42,300 per annum , inclusive of London Allowance.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Public and Community Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PCIEP) lead. The role holder will lead the PCIEP activities of NIHR ARC North Thames & NIHR UCLH BRC’s Hearing Theme, and will develop and implement PCIEP strategies to maximise opportunities for involving the public in our research.

This post is available full time until 30th September 2022 in the first instance.

The role holder will have experience of involving the public in research, an understanding of the health and care sector, and knowledge of PCIEP methodologies and national public involvement standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with good organisational skills, and the ability to use initiative.
