Dr Bryony Porter-Harmer is the Lead for NIHR ARC East of England’s Patient and Public Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PPIEP) workstream.
Bryony is passionate about effective engagement, involvement and participation of communities in research. She Co-Chairs the PCIEP Coordinating Group and oversees the implementation of the ARC PPIEP Strategy.
As of the end of October 2025, Bryony is on maternity leave. Nicole Jones and Rosanna Fennessy are covering her during this period.
