
Professor Wendy Wills is Director of the NIHR ARC East of England. Prof. Wills is a professor in food and public health and the Director of the Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care (CRIPACC) at the School of Health and Social Work, University of Hertfordshire, where she is also an Associate Dean for Research. CRIPACC is world renowned for its inter- and multi-disciplinary research on older people's health and complex conditions; health, young people and family lives; public health and communities research; and patient experience and public involvement in research. In terms of her own research Prof Wills works at the interface of social science and public health in relation to food, food safety, eating, weight/obesity and health inequalities. She leads the food and public health research programme and has directed several major research grants, including for the ESRC and Food Standards Agency.
