We aim to improve care by undertaking applied research which supports frontline NHS and Social Care staff to change practice and investigate whether care and treatments are effective and provide good value.
Undertake focused research projects in four ‘Populations in Focus’, areas identified as having high health needs in our region. These ‘PIFs’ are Great Yarmouth and Waveney; Peterborough and Fenland; Stevenage; and Thurrock
Nationally co-lead applied research with the NIHR ARC South London in mental health, and palliative and end of life care
Effectively engage with our communities across the region
Facilitate the implementation of research findings into practice
Our ARC partnership is working together to plan and carry out applied research that will make a positive difference to health and social care services, patients and the public.
Knowledge mobilisation is the process of ensuring that the right knowledge, from research, experience, and practice, is available, accessible, and used effectively.
