Knowledge Mobilisation Advanced Fellowships (KMAF)

Applications should be made to ARCoffice@cpft.nhs.uk by 5pm on October 14th 2020.

It is anticipated that the NIHR Academy will soon issue calls for rounds five and six of their Advanced Fellowship programme which includes Knowledge Mobilisation Advanced Fellowships (KMAF); each round will probably have a staged application process (e.g. outline bid, fuller bid, interview).

Information about previous fellowships can be found here https://www.nihr.ac.uk/documents/nihr-doctoral-and-advanced-fellowships-round-4-guidance-notes-april-2020/24527#Knowledge_Mobilisation (See section 10).

We invite requests for support in preparing applications from candidates wishing to undertake that fellowship in collaboration with organisations associated with NIHR ARC East of England. This support will provide a bursary to cover institutional and/or personal costs associated with bid preparation; the ARC EoE implementation team will also offer advice.  The NIHR ARC East of England bursary (up to £6,000 in total) will be allocated against each stage of the application process rather than as a lump sum.

To apply please submit (1) a 500-word summary of your proposed research, your motivation and aspirations about KM, and why you would benefit from being awarded a KMAF; (2) a CV; and (3) a letter of support from the institution that will support you in your KMAF.

Applications should be made to ARCoffice@cpft.nhs.uk by 5pm on October 14th 2020.

Please contact John Gabbay (jg3@soton.ac.uk) or Andrée le May (aclm@soton.ac.uk) for further information.
