Population Evidence and Data Science - Knowledge Exchange

This is the first of a series of events bringing together those with an interest in the better use of data for population health research.

These seminars aim to bring together researchers across the EoE ARC with an interest in better use of health and care data, provide an opportunity to share expertise in different types of data and create a forum to learn and exchange ideas.

Introduction to Public Health England data and analysis tool

Speaker: Dr Sian Evans, Consultant in Public Health

Sian Evans is a Consultant in Public Health and Associate Director of the Public health England (PHE) Local Knowledge and Intelligence Service in the East of England. She is also Deputy theme lead for the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Population Evidence and Data Science theme. Before joining PHE, Sian worked with the Eastern Region Public Health Observatory and has considerable experience of the application of data and intelligence to inform decision-making about population health.
