Decolonising Covid.
Covid-19 has been found to be particularly risky for those from Black and Asian communities. Whilst some of this additional risk might be genetically based, there is a strong suspicion that much of it is due to our society's racial bias. This talk will examine some of the structural racial biases within the healthcare system that negatively impact on the care of BAME Covid patients, and some ideas on how to challenge them.
