Shanice is a Postgraduate Researcher aligned with the Inclusive Involvement in Research for Practice Theme, based in the School of Health Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA).
Shanice is exploring how older people living in a coastal community 'go online' and engage with digital technologies to access health and social care services. Her project is funded by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the UEA. Prior to her PhD, Shanice assisted with qualitative projects exploring healthcare access for autistic people, people with learning disabilities, and people with age-related hearing loss at the University of Manchester. She is interested in community-based research and inequalities in access to healthcare services.
