Lizette Nolte

Research lead for Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, UH

Lizette Nolte is a Clinical Psychologist and the research lead for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme, University of Hertfordshire (UH). She is a qualitative researcher and a practicing clinical psychologist and systemic family therapist.  

Lizette is engaged in research, alongside the SLOW bereavement charity, that works to improve the support and care received by bereaved parents and families. This research is part of a wider research theme focused on Family health and wellbeing, that includes research in the fields of family safeguarding, perinatal mental health care and families with a member living with chronic or life-limiting illness. Alongside her research Lizette has been practicing as a clinical psychologist in the NHS and education settings for 30 years. Her research is informed by a commitment to rehumanising, equitable and inclusive services.
