Krystal Warmoth

Dr Krystal Warmoth is a Senior Research Fellow working with the Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care (CRIPACC) at the University of Hertfordshire and previously at the University of Exeter. She is a social and health psychologist interested in how we can best support the health and well-being of older adults with multiple health conditions. To do this, she uses mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) for her research.

Since completing her PhD in 2015, she has worked in both the United States of America and the United Kingdom. She has contributed to several different projects involving care homes, psychosocial interventions, implementation, rehabilitation, behaviour change, and dementia. She currently leads the STOPPING project which aims to inform the development of a deprescribing (the reducing or stopping of medicines) approach for older people in care homes and funded by NIHR RfPB.
