Jeanette is a member of the Inclusive Involvement in Research for Practice-led Health and Social Care (IIRP) theme. She is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of East Anglia and her research has focussed on children and young people's views of social work services and the experiences of LGBTQ+ young people.
Jeanette's research includes a study on children's involvement in child protection for the Office of the Children's Commissioner for England, and the SpeakOUT study which looked at the experiences of LGBTQ+ young people growing up in the care system. She has an interest in coproduction, particularly in involving young people in research.
