Hayley Gains

Researcher

Hayley Gains is a Research Assistant in the Child & Adolescent Resilience and Mental Health team at the University of Cambridge and a researcher in NIHR ARC East of England’s Mental Health and Wellbeing and Measurement in Health and Social Care theme. 

Hayley's training is in Psychology (BSc Hons) and Psychological Research Methods (MSc). She has delivered mental health intervention studies targeting children's self-regulation, anti-bullying, depressive symptoms, involvement with the criminal justice system and self-harm behaviours. She recently worked with the Education Endowment Foundation to review evidence on what works to support the implementation and sustainability of interventions in schools. Hayley is experienced in conducting mixed methods studies, with a primary expertise in quantitative methods.
