Guy started as a research fellow with the ARC EoE Palliative and End of Life Care group in November 2017 under the supervision of Dr Morag Farquhar at the University of East Anglia (UEA). Guy also works as a lecturer in Applied Health Sciences at UEA and is currently working on secondment with St Nicholas Hospice Care in Bury St Edmunds. Guy leads a research group for UEA Health and Social Care Partners studying methods to expand community involvement in palliative and end of life care. He is collaborating with Prof Claire Goodman at the University of Hertfordshire (ARC EoE themes lead) on an NIHR funded study researching the use of a Minimum Data Set in care homes. Guy is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Scientist with The Science Council, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. He is a volunteer for the Anne Robson Trust at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital supporting patients and the families of patients dying in hospital.
