Diane is a nurse by background and currently based at the University of East Anglia, as a Lecturer in Health Sciences. Her research interests are hydration and nutritional care for older people living in care homes, working collaboratively with residents, their families and care workers to develop evidence-based care approaches. Diane is currently a member of the Inclusive Involvement in Research for Practice-led Health & Social care Theme, led by Professor Fiona Poland.
