Carole joined the ARC (previously CLAHRC) East of England in January 2017. Based at the University of East Anglia (UEA), Carole is a part-time Co-ordinator, providing organisational, financial and administrative support to the Inclusive Involvement in Research theme and the Measurement in Health and Social Care theme. Carole has degrees in Biological Sciences (UEA) and Literature (Essex), an MPhil (Stirling) and a PGCE (Oxford Brookes). Carole has a diverse working background: co-ordinating and delivering PPI research for a health watchdog; managing a Big Lottery project for Norfolk Citizens Advice and other agencies; working in Public Health as a Lab Technician (infectious diseases); teaching children with autism in Oxfordshire; and scriptwriting for children’s TV in Singapore.
