I live in King's Lynn (Norfolk). Disabled and unemployable for over 20 years through critical illness, my working life was mainly in sales and as a staff nurse. For the last ten years I have been heavily involved in reviewing research for applicants to funds, funders and funded teams. I have recently launched a website to support people new to PPI and early career researchers. I sit on a wide number of panels devoted to improving research and raising the public/patient voice.
