I am one of the public contributors working with the ARC and with the Public Involvement Group. I am a university student based in Cambridge, and enjoy being part of the group alongside working on my studies. I have a long term health condition and so it’s really important to me that patient views are taken into account in research. As well as contributing to improving research in health and social care, working with the ARC has also helped to increase my own confidence and become more informed about the issues that are important to different communities.
