Joanna's research and evaluation focuses on offending and its impacts both in real world and virtual communities. Joanna is a HCPC practitioner psychologist, chartered psychologist and lead of the Applied Psychology Research Group, who has worked closely with practitioners and those who are involved directly in implementing criminal and civil justice for over two decades.
Joanna's research interests broadly relate to how the criminal justice system works and the ramifications of criminal justice within society.
She has supervised 10 doctoral students through to successful completion.
