Linda joined ARC East of England in October 2019; being a member of the Inclusive Involvement in Research for Practice-led Health and Social Care theme enables her to develop her research interest in innovative ways to support people who may feel disenfranchised from research to be more actively involved in all aspects. She is a social science researcher in the School of Health Sciences at University of East Anglia. Her research portfolio is varied but a thread throughout her work is in understanding the work people do to mediate disruptions caused by changes in health, whether acute symptoms, or long-term conditions. In a recent project she explored the experience of cognitive impairment in ageing and this work enabled her to develop methods for co-research with people living with dementia.
