
Angelique is a Consultant in Healthcare Public Health at Public Health England (PHE) and a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. She has led the development of the East of England Population Health Research Hub, a collaborative network of academics, practitioners and funding bodies; to spearhead responsive public health research design, translation and evaluation. Further to her applied research role, Angelique works across regional health and care systems to inform strategy on prevention and health inequalities. Prior to joining PHE, Angelique held consultant roles at Cambridgeshire County and Peterborough City Councils, where she led the design of the system-wide Ageing Well Programme and strategies to challenge inequalities in later life. She is deputy theme lead for the NIHR Applied Research Collaborative in the East of England, Public Health Specialty Lead for the Clinical Research Network and was awarded the Faculty of Public Health Sam Ramaiah award in recognition of her work on health inequalities.
