Kim Cartledge

Implementation and evaluation advisor

Kim joined the ARC in November 2021 to take up the role of Implementation and Evaluation Advisor. She is working across the ARC and Eastern AHSN to bring together the expertise and strengths of each organisation. Her purpose is to widen the impact of high-quality research through successful implementation and to facilitate evaluations of health and social care innovations for the benefit of the NHS, service users and the public. Before joining the ARC, Kim worked for the NIHR Research Design Service, helping clinical and academic researchers to design research projects and develop research proposals for national peer-reviewed funding competitions. She has worked in the NHS for 10 years, utilising knowledge and experience she gained from her PhD and background in academia to support world-leading researchers delivering impactful research in the field of health and social care.
